This delightful novelty tune incorporates two popular Sunday school songs. The march begins with a familiar introduction which has the flavor of a familiar march. After the development of first theme, the transition to the Trio also refers back to the same familiar march. There are some playful dissonances as these two themes battle back and forth from letter D to E as well as the "off" tonality from letter B to C.

Even though the piece was written with middle school bands in mind, the percussion parts, as in all the pieces by Dr. Garcia, challenge the percussion section and will keep the players interested and working hard.
